Budapest often is referred as Eastern Paris. The city reserves signs of remarkable Magyar legacy, shown with amazing old buildings. The capital is divided in to parts – Buda, being the more interesting, because of it’s historic part. Pest is the newer, flatter part of the Budapest, which has an excellent view from the old part of the city.

There is a walled castle district in the old part – Buda. Nearby the cave chapel are the Gellert baths, known as the most prestigious of hot spring baths in the city, for which Budapest is famous. The famous Chain Bridge to Pest is crossing the Danube. Amazing buildings with neo-classic architecture are numerous in Pest. Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Opera House, Post Office Savings Bank, St. Stephen’s Basilica, Museum of Applied Arts, The National museum, which is located in a building from the 18th century and gives fascinating view into the Magyar history.

Of course, you can be witness of all this beauty, only if you stay for at least couple of weeks in Budapest. For that case, if you can afford it, it’s preferable for you to book a rental car in Budapest.
